Despite a sixth consecutive league defeat, West Brom have not made plans to replace head coach Alan Pardew according to English news outlet 'Sky Sports'. Club management do not think that changing their coach would significantly improve their chances to remain in the Premier League, so it appears Pardew will remain at West Brom for the time being.
A contributing factor to his remaining at the club includes the costly process of finding a replacement, which could interfere with selecting the most appropriate candidate. Another issue that the club has encountered, is that potential candidates are reportedly unwilling to manage a team that is fighting against relegation at the bottom of the league.
Chief executive, Mark Jenkins, had returned from China to watch West Brom lose to Leicester City 4-1. He had flown out to Asia to meet with club shareholders in a bid to plan for the next season. There has been no action taken yet in restructuring club hierarchy, so it is assumed that Jenkins was not instructed to replace Pardew.
'Sky Sports' also claim that the board at Albion will continue to constantly monitor the situation.
