Giroud has said that his improved level of play with fellow midfielders Eden Hazard and Willian are proof that he is adapting well to his new club.
The former Arsenal player transferred in January and marked his second start for Chelsea in a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace on Saturday.
In an interview with the club website, Giroud revealed: ''I'm adapting well, I try to have a good understanding on the pitch with the number 10s like Eden and Willian."
"It's important to keep the confidence high and work for your team-mates so I tried to deliver some passes for Willian and Eden. I'm happy because we won and even if I didn't score I'm sure I will in the next games.''
The 31-year-old also praised Willian's goal record, having scored in each of the last five matches in all competitions: ''He's been very efficient in the last weeks, he's doing very well and he's on a good run."
Giroud added: "We need players who can make the difference all through the game. He [Willian] has got everything to bring his quality for the team.'
Chelsea are currently sitting in fifth position behind Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham. However, they will now focus their attention to their last-16 Champions League clash against Barcelona on Wednesday.
