The former Tottenham player was renowned for his lavish lifestyle early on in his career, but appears to have curtailing his excessive spending. The midfielder was spotted out in Milan with his fiancee a more humble Fiat 500.
In an interview with the 'Mailonline' back in February, Boateng admitted to splashing out on three cars in one day whilst playing at Spurs. He said: ''It's true.
''I still have a picture at home of me standing in-front of three cars and a big house and I'm standing there like I'm 50 Cent. I look at it sometimes and I say: 'Look how stupid you were.'
''If you're 18, you don't know anything. And today if you are 18 and you get five million net a year. You buy the world! That is exactly what you think: I can buy the world. I buy friends, I buy girls, I buy cars, I buy everything.''
Boateng has scored six goals this season for the Bundesliga outfit, and Frankfurt achieved an eighth-place finish which despite not being sufficient to qualify for European football, is a definite improvement on their 11th-place finish last season.
