It's been an unforgettable week for Lionel Messi. After single-handedly undoing Chelsea, he went on to make more history in La Liga with his umpteenth record.
The Barca No. 10 leathered past Kepa Arrizabalaga with one of his trademark strikes to kill off Sunday's tie with Bilbao and bring his tally up to 25 goals in the league. With that goal, Messi is now the only player to achieve that feat in nine different campaigns. What's even more impressive is that he achieved it in consecutive seasons.
Messi proudly beat rival Cristiano Ronaldo to the record. The Portuguese has netted 18 times so far this season and now has eight games left to equal Messi's feat.
