Los Blancos are continuing to tie down players who they want to form part of their team for the next few years and another contract renewal is reportedly imminent for one of their forwards.
The forward in question is Karim Benzema. The French striker, who at the moment is reocvering from a muscle injury in his right foot which he picked up against Levante, will extend his stay with the side from the Spanish capital.
Journalist Frederic Hermel revealed in 'El Chiringuito' that Madrid will announce the extension of Benzema's contract imminently and the deal will run until the year 2021.
With the French striker's current contract set to run out in June 2019, this means he his extending his relationship with Florentino Perez's club by two more years.
After this news, Benzema will become the fourth player to sign a contract extension in less than a week, following his team-mates Marcelo, Isco and Carvajal.
