Following a series of reports linking the Samba star with a sensational switch to Real Madrid, it had been widely claimed that the 25-year-old had a buy-out clause in his contract that could help facilitate such a move.
Neymar made waves in the summer by swapping Barcelona for Paris after French giants PSG invoked such a clause, paying €222m for his services.
It had been suggested that the player's buy-out clause with the Parisian side was set at exactly the same figure, something that the club has now strongly denied.
In a press release issued in French publication 'Le Parisien' on Friday, the French club insisted that no such clause exists in Neymar's contract.
"I would be of no legal benefit as the Ligue de Football Professionnel does not recognise such agreements," the club explained.
