Despite being far from his native Catalonia, Guardiola is still concerned with matters at his former club and on the current goings on at the Camp Nou with Messi's contract situation, he said: "It's what everyone wants to see."
The former Barcelona boss made his views clear at the start of his press conference, before moving on to talk about his current side's upcoming Premier League clash away at Huddersfield.
"Everyone knows how difficult it is to play [at Huddersfield]. We played there last year and couldn't win, and Manchester United lost there a few weeks ago," Guardiola said.
Finally, the Catalan coach spoke about his team's performances: "If we're talking about how many points we've picked up, then yes I am very happy. But I know that we can still improve."
