Sadio Mane believes Liverpool have the quality and character to recover from their difficult start to the season and win the Premier League.
Jurgen Klopp's side have not won in September, with their last victory coming in their 4-0 thrashing of Arsenal.
But the Senegalese forward, who is currently serving a three-match ban after clashing with Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson, says the players are working hard to turn things around.
Speaking to ESPN, Mane insists the players are not getting frustrated with the poor run of form since the home win against Arsenal.
He said: "Sometimes it can happen in football, but the most important thing is the reaction and it is important to do that. We have a great team and great qualities in the team, and I think we will do it [respond]."
The 25-year-old is regarded as one of the best forward players in the Premier League and his partnership with summer signing Mohamed Salah has been a key part of how Liverpool have played this season.
When asked whether the Reds have the best strike-force in the league, he said: "Thank you for the compliment! That is what we are looking for and what we are working for every day in training. We are going to keep going to do that to try to help us win games."
With the return of Coutinho to first-team action at Anfield after his transfer saga in the summer, it looks like Liverpool's attacking options are only set to improve, and Mane things the decision to keep the Brazilian playmaker is vitally important.
"It was not only important to me, but also to the whole club, that Phil is staying here. He is one of our best players, an important player, and we are happy to see him stay with us."
However, Liverpool have come under heavy criticism for their weak defending which have many people believing they are not capable of winning the title, but Mane refuses to rule out Jurgen Klopp's side winning the Premier League.
"Honestly, it is too early to talk about the title," he continued. "We are not focused on other teams, just on ourselves, and we know we can beat any team in the league.
"These kind of results can happen in any team, but we will do our best to change the situation. We will try to take it game by game, and why not win it at the end?"
