Liverpool are the latest club to show interest in Real Madrid's Mateo Kovacic, and it looks like they may be leading the race to get him, according to Sky Sport Italia.
Serie A sides Juventus, AC Milan and Roma have all expressed an interest in the 22-year-old, but only for a a loan-to-buy deal deal, whilst Liverpool want to buy him outright, which it is believed Los Blancos would prefer.
The Croatian arrived froom Inter Milan for €29 million last summer, but has failed to impress and establish himself in the team, and earlier this week it was revealed the Champions League winners would lower the asking price in order to get rid of him.
Would this be a good signing for Liverpool?
