Pep Guardiola's side have dropped just two points all campaign and currently sit 14 points clear at the top of the Premier League.
Their imperious form has led many sides to give up hope of challenging for the title this season, but Jesus, who missed a penalty in Saturday's win, says that no one in the city squad is getting carried away quite yet.
"This was one of our best performances this season, against a really good opponent that has brilliant players," the Brazilian said following Saturday's win.
"So well done to us, not just because of the result, but also the way that we've beaten Tottenham. The score could have been even larger.
"Our team is performing excellently but there are other clubs doing the same. We can't think that we're unbeatable and we have to keep our focus game by game."
