Costa's transfer saga looks to be coming to an end. The radio program 'Radio Estadio' revealed an agreement between Atletico Madrid and Chelsea in which the La Liga side will pay a fee of 45 million euros, with a further 10 in add-ons.
However, Atletico will not make the payment until Diego Costa and Chelsea make up and the tension between the club and the player dissipates. The Spain international will have to pay a 300,000 million euro fine for not reporting back to training with the reserves.
Antonio Conte laughed off the striker's claims which indicates that a reconciliation will prove complicated, but it is only the key to exit the London club.
With an impending deal worth 55 million euros, Diego Costa will have to yield and appease the current situation if he wants a return to Madrid. He is very close to fulfilling his dream, and Simeone's.
