The Catalan giants are looking to fill the void left by Neymar's world-record £198m move to PSG and have identified Dembele as an ideal replacement for the departed Brazilian.
According to 'L'Equipe', Barcelona are now in negotiations with Dortmund over a potential €100million (£90m) fee for Dembele. The Spanish club want to conculde a deal quickly so that the 20-year-old can link up with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi to complete a revamped attacking trident.
Barcelona's summer transfer business has been slow, but Ernesto Valverde's side are ready to splash the cash made from Neymar's departure and sign the talented France international. Spanish publication 'Mundo deportivo' also reports that deals for Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho and Real Sociedad's Inigo Martinez are in the final stages.
